Casey, the founder of Sol & Stars, has been an employee at Thirroul + Co since 2020 before she went on maternity leave to have her first bub, Billy at the end of that year. 

After having her second bub Raffy in 2023, soon after she returned to Thirroul + co on a part time basis while also juggling the fun role of mum life. 

It was in the middle of 2024 that an opportunity arose and Thirroul + Co were looking for a new baby giftware brand to showcase within store.

Casey saw this as a sign and an opportunity that she just couldn’t pass up. 

She took the leap of faith, and from there Sol & Stars was born. 

Having a background in property styling, retail and visual merchandising, it felt like second nature to branch out into baby giftware, particularly when she is in that phase of life herself.

Casey says she wants her collection to feel different, unique and cute with most items paying homage to Australiana themes, all while being at a reasonable price point. She would love Thirroul + Co to be the first point of call when locals are looking for that perfect baby gift. Casey looks forward to welcoming her third bub into the world in May 2025
